ASCP in Memphis! YAY!!!!
Wow, I met the most awesome ladies at "Me & Mrs. Jones" today. It's a new, quaint little shop that carries Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and it is ADORABLE! They have every paint color imaginable and all the great extras like brushes, varnishes, waxes... They even offer technique classes.
Here's a link to their website...
Isn't this just the cutest little house?
They're located in Midtown at Cooper/Young.
My dear friend, Amber, who shares a love for painting furniture with me... discovered "Me & Mrs. Jones" on Facebook and we made a plan to get over there this week.
How cool is this display?
Stephanie (aka Mrs. Jones) painted this stencil on paneled walls and then put a crackle finish over it. It's so sweet. She used ASCP, of course. This is in the entry way.
Paint color samples are displayed on miscellaneous frames. Such a great idea!
This came from the old library, it's the card catalog file, she keeps the sample pots in here.
I want this!
Now, I'm on the look-out for an old card file to store my art & sewing supplies!
After shopping at Me & Mrs. Jones, we walked down the street, strolling by adorable old houses, shops, yummy little restaurants... we ended up stopping to eat a great lunch at "Stone Soup"...sitting outside on this beautiful spring day. What an awesome little part of town. There are all kinds of cool restaurants and shops. There's a sewing shop opening soon and there's a yarn place just up the street.
It's a crafty girl's heaven.
The art district isn't too far away either.Pin It Now!
